Tulfarris offers two beautiful suites to choose from on your special day. Both suites are bright, spacious and have natural daylight and a private bar area. Our standard set-up includes the use of our elegant Chiavari chairs and candelabras. The suites boast stunning crystal chandeliers and verandas overlooking the picturesque lakes and mountains surrounding the resort.
The Russborough suite
The newly refurbished ballroom is a bright, contemporary, and elegant space. The space feels light, luxurious, and timeless with bespoke paneling with inset mirrors to add luxury to the room. The paneling takes its inspiration from the Manor House at Tulfarris and from the nearby, Palladian mansion Russborough House. Essentially, the design is a modern interpretation of a classical ballroom. The colours throughout have been kept very pale and soft. Warm white provides the main backdrop for the scheme while tones of blue provide the accent colours. Highly decorative crystal pendant chandeliers bring exemplary focal points to the ballroom and are complemented by hidden up-lighters which bathe the bow-shaped ceiling in swaths of a warm white.
There is a large bar and seating area adjacent to the Russborough Suite which can be partitioned off from the ballroom or couples may opt to have it left entirely open. Here there is a balance between comfortable sofa seating with stone-topped cocktail tables, traditional buttoned banquette seating, and high bar tables paired with leather-clad stools. The bar itself is painted in a deep midnight blue and is topped with natural stone. Stylish paneling, crystal ceiling, wall lights, and beveled mirrors complete the look to a stunning effect.
The new ballroom can comfortably hold 250 guests for dinner on round tables or 320 people theatre style. A movable stage means wedding or event planners have more flexibility while wedding couples will love the easy and direct access the room has to the stunning gardens and courtyard.
The Poulaphuca Suite
Exchange your vows in our beautiful ceremony room complete with a balcony overlooking the Wicklow Mountains, perfect to capture those first magical moments as a married couple. Tulfarris was a dream to work with from start to finish. No question went unanswered, and their attention to detail is unmatched. Since the wedding, every person we’ve spoken to has echoed the same praises—fabulous staff, amazing food, beautiful setting, and immaculate grounds.
A venue like Tulfarris requires a talented team, and they have that in abundance. From the wedding planning team and accommodation management to groundskeeping, cleaning, waiting and bar staff, hotel management, reception, and kitchen teams, it's clear that every individual cares deeply and is passionate about their role. We had both our ceremony and reception in Tulfarris and we were so happy with how seamless the day ran. The Manor House for the drinks reception was just fabulous and getting the opportunity to have it the next day for our day 2 celebration was amazing- we got very lucky!

Honora is exceptionally talented at what she does. She was amazing and so easy to communicate with throughout the entire process, there was no stone left unturned and you always followed up on everything. You always feel at ease as you know you’re in good hands. Ann Marie in accommodation, a pleasure to deal with and despite many requests for updated lists was always so kind and obliging.
All the waiting and bar staff were fabulous from the Friday night we arrived at the bar until breakfast on Monday morning, there is a great team. I do have to mention the lovely Bella who looked after us at the top table on the big day. Such a lovely girl who looked after us so well.
Derek and Arnold both ran our big day seamlessly. Arnold was especially kind to my little nephew who was feeling the nerves before walking down the aisle. Derek’s approach was impeccable—he kept everything running smoothly, always present when needed, but never intrusive. We would have been lost without him.
I can’t recommend Tulfarris enough, it is the perfect setting for a wedding and between the Manor House, hotel and ballroom area backdropped by the stunning lakes it’s like your own little world for one of the biggest days in your life. We can’t sing their praises highly enough.

We had been to look at a few places before but once we went to look at Tulfarris we knew it was definitely the place for us. From the canapes to the actual meal the food was the talk of the guests the next day and it's still mentioned to us now.

From there the feeling was ever increasing as we went through the process of planning our day.
