Irish Open 2023
The Irish Open (currently known as the Horizon Irish Open for sponsorship reasons) is a professional and prestigious golf tournament on the European Tour which brings together teams and players from across the world. The first Irish Open took place in 1927 in Portmarnock Golf Club and has been played annually (aside from years of war) ever since. As part of a long-standing deal between the DP World Tour and the K Club, the Horizon Irish Open will be held at the prestigious Kildare Estate in 2023, 2025 and 2027. The event was last held at The K Club in 2016 when Northern Irishman Rory McIlroy took the title by three shots. This September, the K Club will once again be filled with many familiar faces competing for the title and the grand prize of $6 million.
