Golf Protocols

We require all golfers to comply with the following protocols to ensure a safe golfing environment for all.

We would ask you not to arrive too early, 15 minutes before your tee time is recommended. Please get everything ready at your car, observing social distancing at all times
The Golf Shop will remain open with only one visitor allowed in at any time. Our shop has been fitted with a screen for safety and social distancing recommendations must be adhered to
Please ensure you have washed or sanitised your hands before completing your transaction
Please do not delay or congregate around the counter and use card payments only

Play will be 3 balls in 14-minute intervals only
The driving range will remain closed until further notice. The practice greens are for the use of booked golfers only
Avoid handshakes, high-fives and other embraces associated with the etiquette of the game
Golfers should always keep 2 metres apart and special care should be taken to maintain 2 metre distance at teeing areas
When playing golf, do not remove the pin from the hole, refrain from handling other golfers’ clubs, golf balls and scorecards
All golfers should stay more than 2 metres apart when walking to the ball, searching for a ball, and playing shots. Do not touch stray balls
Do not share any equipment
Bunker rakes will also be removed from all bunkers, please smooth out the surface with your foot

The locker rooms will be closed so please return to your car as quickly as possible
Social distancing is as important after a round as it is during the round, so when the round is over players must leave the course and the club/facility immediately so that there are no gatherings

Hand sanitising stations in place
One-way queue system marked out on ground and clearly signposted
Protective staff screen installed at counter
Identified clubhouse touch points cleaned and sanitised before opening daily
Bins around clubhouse surrounds secured open if they have a lid
Locker rooms closed
All seating areas within the clubhouse are closed
Trolley handles sanitised before use (wipes and spray available at the trolley area)
Golf buggies may be hired but only 1 player may travel in a buggy. Disinfectant spray will be provided, and this should be used with your golf towel to sanitise the steering wheel, seat and other areas of the buggy before and after use.
