Greenan Maze
Greenan Maze is located in the Wicklow Mountains in Glenmalure Valley about 40-minutes from Tulfarris Hotel in Wicklow. Bray
The lovely seaside town of Bray is one of Wicklow’s main attractions. Often adopted by Dublin as it’s on the DART route, Bray is on the border between the counties and is a popular choice for visitors on a sunny day. You can enjoy some of the most beautiful sights on the Irish coastline on the Bray to Greystones cliff walk. It takes about an hour each way and is suitable for able-bodied adults and children. You can return to the seafront where your family can entertain themselves for hours in the ‘amusements’, playing grab machines, enjoying rides and spending their hard-eared pocket money on the slot machines. Kippure Estate Adventure Centre
Kippure Estate Adventure Centre is one of Ireland’s premier outdoor adventure centres and is sure to keep the little ones amused for hours on end. The centre is located within 240 acres of mature woodland on the edge of the Wicklow Mountains National Park and is less than 30-minutes from our luxury Wicklow hotel. The centre provides a range of activities including high and low ropes, sky trek and zip wire, climbing and abseiling, archery, orienteering, paintball, clay shooting, survival skills, guided mountain walks and lots more. Clara Lara
Mention Clara Lara Fun Park to a local and you’ll likely hear stories of childhoods spent adventuring, swimming and making memories. The park is dedicated to providing healthy outdoor fun for families and children of all ages in the heart of Wicklow. They can enjoy many varied adventures with tree houses, Tarzan swings, rope bridges, rowing boats, water slides, rafts, canoes and junior go-carts all on offer. Beyond The Trees at Avondale Forest Park
Avondale Forest Park is home to Ireland’s newest attraction, Beyond The Trees. The €19 million project transformed Avondale with the addition of a 12-story viewing tower made from locally sourced wood and a 90m spiral slide for those who like a thrill! The sights and smells of the surrounding forest are worth the entrance fee; you won’t get a better view of the Garden of Ireland than this. Children will love learning about local flora and fauna from the information boards. You can also enjoy a choice of three forest walks, each with something unique and beautiful to offer nature lovers.
