Fia Rua Restaurant

Renovated in 2020, Fia Rua is our in-house restaurant in Tulfarris Hotel Wicklow and the centrepiece of our gourmet retreat. The stylish décor includes stunning hand-cut Carrera marble, rich leather upholstery, solid hand-worked oak panelling, antique mirrors and feature brass shelving. We rely on local suppliers to provide us with the finest, locally sourced ingredients which we then rework and present to you, to order. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner in Fia Rua and have a very special afternoon tea menu for a special occasion. As well as a full and varied menu, we have a wide selection of drinks, from beers, wines, and spirits to bespoke cocktails – ideal for finishing off a delicious meal.

Locally Sourced Ingredients

We’re lucky to have a wealth of local suppliers in Wicklow and surrounding parts of Ireland. We support local producers, farmers, and growers by buying locally whenever we can. Our guests benefit from the freshest, locally grown produce, straight from farm to fork with as few miles between them as possible. We also have a private garden where we grow our own herbs. Imagine fresh fish caught that morning off the coast in Howth, the freshest herbs grown in our backyard, creamy cheese straight from the farm in Cork and freshly laid eggs from the farm up the road. Our team inspect the quality of our suppliers regularly to ensure high standards and use their culinary expertise to produce excellent plates, every time.

If you’re hoping for more casual dining, our Brasserie Bar is the perfect alternative. Relax and watch the match or catch up with friends and family in our comfortable, spacious bar. Watch the golfers as they compete for the lowest scoring 18 holes or just enjoy the scenery from the floor-to-ceiling windows. Your dining experience will be heightened by a complimentary beer or wine from our list which includes some local brands and brews. From bar snacks to light bites and hearty lunches, our Brasserie Bar is the perfect place to enjoy casual foods without compromising on taste.  Food is served from 12 pm until 9 pm daily.
